Examination

Salam 'Alaykum!

So, it looks like i will be starting another blog!

Well, not actually starting but restarting. I used to use this blog during 2012 JUST to update on my UPSR result. Which was a big deal a few years ago. But then, as I entered middle school, I realize that the UPSR result is worthless in Middle School. I mean, your result could help you to go to the best schools and also boarding school but you will realize that your success won't come again if you don't work hard like you used to. Some fellow students, after achieving straight As in  their UPSR often become to obsessed with their results that they forget what made them successful in the first place.

EFFORT

^  And that's something people like you and me forget to do as we are to busy in this short life. Through out what I have observed, those students that didn't achieve straight As are the ones that are more successful than a few excellent students that aced their UPSR.

Another situation goes when we work effortlessly and put our best foot front just to see us fail the examinations in school. I had a talk with my mother one fine day and she said that in University, if you are just Intelligent but lazy it won't get you anywhere. You will only use the knowledge you have to achieve something rather than searching for new knowledge. That will make you unable to move to a higher level with only the knowledge you have.Whilst the Not-So-Intelligent but hardworking would succeed better than you. Why?

Because, now that the individual has failed their school examinations, they would find another path because maybe academics isn't their thing. That is because they are hardworking and they BELIEVE that they can succeed much better than what is printed on their result sheets. You could look up on many entrepreneurs that have dropped school but still are successful because they work hard. Bill Gates, one of the most wealthiest men in the world for over a decade even dropped out from Harvard.

Gates entered Harvard in the fall of 1973, only to drop out two years later to found Microsoft with childhood friend Paul Allen. In 2007, more than thirty years after he left Harvard, the co-founder of Microsoft would finally receive his degree (an honorary doctorate) from his alma mater. At the commencement, Gates said, "I'm a bad influence. That's why I was invited to speak at your graduation. If I had spoken at your orientation, fewer of you might be here today."

So don't worry if you failed making you parents proud now. And any way the school examinations are nothing compared to the world exams. Allah will never let your effort go to waste. You'll either get the reward in this dunya or the akhirah. May Allah bless.

And now? I'm on my way to taking another big school exam, PT3 that had just been established last year. So, wish me luck! and remember BELIEVE so that you can achieve.
